Jigawa Governor sacks Commissioner for Land and Housing

Jigawa State Governor, Muhammadu Abubakar yesterday sacked the state Commissioner for Land, Housing and Urban Development, Alhaji Adamu Sarki Miga.
The governor also directed the state Commissioner for Local Government and Community Development, Alhaji Ahamed Muhammed Babura, to oversee the affairs of the Ministry.

Secretary to the Jigawa State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abdulkadir Fanini has confirmed the development.




Fanini, however, did not disclose why Miga was sacked.

Speaking shortly after taking over the ministry’s affairs, Babura said “His excellency directed me to over see the Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development and I will for now direct the affairs of the ministry”.
