Replenish Your Look And You

Replenish Your Look And You

Find Your Perfect Pink

Unsure of which pink is best for you? Just smile; your perfect shade is about the same color as your gums—no lighter.
Simple fashion wonders....

For that perfect smoky eye effect....

Follow These Simple Tips

1. Use a medium-size round brush to apply charcoal gray powder in an arch shape just above the crease of the lid. Then blend down to the lash line.
2. Trace the upper lash line with a soft black pencil, then gently smudge with your fingertip.
3. With a smaller, firm-bristle brush, press a gunmetal shade into the lower lash line.
4. Apply a pale silver powder to the inner corners of the eyes to lighten the overall effect.
5. Pile on mascara.
You are good to go!

Red lipstick even you can wear....

EXPERT TIPIf you've got light hair and skin, go for a true red, what exactly is a true red? It's got just the teeniest bit of blue in it. That hint of coolness will help downplay any ruddiness in your skin.

EXPERT TIP
With light hair and skin that has a little more color in it, you can really get away with a broader range of reds. It's really your personal choice of how dramatic you're feeling—try orangey hues or ones that are more purple."

EXPERT TIPIf you've got light hair and darker skin, try an orange-red. The warm undertones of the color make your skin look glowy and more golden.

EXPERT TIP
People always tell redheads not to wear red, but the way I see it is that you already have a dramatic look, so you might as well just go with it. Look for corals or orange-reds. Most redheads have soft pink undertones in their skin, so reds that lean towards the rosy side look really modern and unexpected.

EXPERT TIP
With light skin and dark hair, the eyebrows already add a little weight to the face, so you can get really dramatic. Look for deep cherry reds with cool undertones or burgundy hues, but skip orange-red: "It could clash with your skin."

EXPERT TIP
With dark hair and medium skin, because there's less differentiation between your hair and skin color, bold shades won't look as shocking.  I like a blue-based, true red. "But play with a berry shade if you want to go darker. It can be really gorgeous."

EXPERT TIP
With dark hair and dark skin. I like a tomato red with yellow undertones. That extra depth adds a little light, so that you don't just have one flat field of color on your lips.
