2016 Rio Olympics: Dream Team VI may face Brazil in quarter-finals

Nigeria’s U-23 team’s 1-0 over Sweden on Monday morning, means they are through to the quarter-finals of men’s football at the 2016 Olympics Games in Rio, Brazil.
The Dream Team VI now have six points, after they beat Japan 5-4 in their first Group B clash. This means they now have an unassailable lead at the top.

As group leaders, Samson Siasia’s men will take on the team that finishes second in Group A, which has hosts Brazil, Denmark, Iraq and South Africa.

Brazil currently occupy that position and may finish there as things stand. If that is the case, they will take on Nigeria in the next round.

Neymar and co have failed to score in their first two games against South Africa and Iraq, which both ended in goalless draws.
