For their talents, dedication, and immense contributions entertainment industry, some notable Nollywood and African actors will be honoured at the forthcoming second edition of Afro-Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment (AHBE) Awards on August 20, 2016 in the USA.
Legendary and iconic Nigerian names such as Liz Benson, Sadiq Daba, Pete Edochie, Kunle Afolayan, Ayo Adesanya, Bimbo Manuel, Desmond Elliot, Saidi Balogun, Fabian Ologede, Bimbo Oshin, Odunlade Adekola and Dayo Adeneye would all be honoured at the event. Post Humous recipients are late Ray Eyiwunmi and late Jennifer Ossai.
Afro-Heritage Broadcasting & Entertainment Awards ‘AHBEA’ is an annual event created to celebrate African artistes that have made serious impact in entertainment industry and it covers actors, actresses, comedians and musicians. The categories are split into 2, namely Legends for those who have been in the industry for over 30 years and Icons for those who have been in the industry and have performed excellently well for over 20 years.
This year’s event will be hosted by Seyi Law, and there will be several other live performances by Qdot, Dammy Krane and Jaywon. The after party would be by Pasuma and Sefiu Alao.
