Melania Trump’s Nude Modeling Pictures Surface: ‘Nothing to Be Embarrassed About,’ Says Donald Trump Adviser

Melania Trump posed nude in a photo spread for a French adult magazine in 1995, and now, more than two decades later, the revealing shots have resurfaced in the New York Post.

The newspaper published several rare pics of the Slovenian native, now 46, on Sunday, July 31, that show her wearing nothing but high heels at age 25 during a photo shoot in Manhattan with French photographer Alé de Basseville. The headline on the shocking front page of the Post reads: “The Ogle Office.”



“Melania was super great and a fantastic personality and she was very kind with me,” de Basseville told the paper. He also noted that the former model — who was then known by the moniker Melania K. — “never once” felt uncomfortable posing for the nude shots.

The images were originally published in the January 1996 issue of Max, a now-defunct men’s magazine, but have not surfaced online until now.

“I was quite surprised when I saw the pictures because it was … a racier shoot than I expected,” an unidentified fashion industry insider who was at the 1995 photo shoot told the Post on Sunday. “But Melania seemed very comfortable with the whole thing, and she was very professional.”

The pictures were taken almost a decade before Trump and her now husband, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, married in Palm Beach, Florida, in January 2005.

Donald, 70, told the Post on Sunday, “Melania was one of the most successful models and she did many photo shoots, including for covers and major magazines. This was a picture taken for a European magazine prior to my knowing Melania. In Europe, pictures like this are very fashionable and common.
”

The businessman’s campaign senior communications adviser, Jason Miller, later defended the publication of the photos during an interview on CNN’s Reliable Sources on Sunday.

“They’re a celebration of the human body as art,” Miller said. “There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. She’s a beautiful woman.”

Earlier this month, Melania made headlines when she gave a speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention that contained an entire paragraph that was nearly identical to one in Michelle Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention address. Two days later, Trump staff writer Meredith McIver took responsibility and apologized for “including some of [Michelle’s] phrasing.”
