Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky Recreate Epic Olympics Photo

19-year-old Katie Ledecky not only won four gold medals at the Rio Olympics.  She also might have won Throwback Thursday by posting an old photo of herself with fellow swimmer, Michael Phelps.
Ten years ago, Ledecky posed with Phelps while getting his autograph.  This week, the 31-year-old decided to turn the tables and get her autograph.

“Katie’s doing her thing and she’s breaking records every time she gets in the pool,” Phelps told Today.

“It’s been an honor for me to be a part of the team with her and some of the younger guys that we have coming up in the sport that are going to take over.”

For her part, Ledecky is thrilled to continue the tradition of competitive swimming.US Swim Team Today Show Pic

"A lot of the young swimmers on the team we all looked up to him when we were 6 years old,'' she told the NBC morning program, and Phelps joked that it made him feel pretty old.
"I didn't mean it like that!" Ledecky said. "I started watching him when I was 6 years old when I was first starting to get in the sport and to be on the team with him has been such an honor."

USA Swimming's official Instagram account shared the photo, a classic example of dreams coming true.

"First met when @kledecky was 9 years old," the caption read, "and she and @m_phelps00 are now gold medal teammates for #TeamUSA in Rio #RioToday #SwimUnited."
