Pablo Zabaleta Discusses Joe Hart’s Manchester City Situation

Speaking after City’s 5-0 Champions League victory away at Steaua Bucharest, for which Joe Hart was left on the bench, the Argentine said

“We are big squad with two big players in Joe Hart’s position and it’s going to be tough, the competition is there. That happens with all the big teams when you have big squad.

“But the competition is very healthy, we are a team and we believe the team is more important individual. Of course, we need to continue that way.


“That is the team spirit we need to win trophies this season so the club is the most important thing at the moment.

Asked how Hart had taken the omission, he added: “At the moment Joe Hart is still part of the Manchester City squad.

“There has been a lot of speculation about him leaving but at the moment he is a Manchester City player.”
