A Nigerian teenager, Andre Aderemi, has been reportedly hacked to death in London.
Aderemi, 19, was stabbed to death on Tuesday after he was reportedly chased through the streets by youths armed with machetes at Monks Hills estate, Selsdon in Croydon, UK Evening Standard is reporting.

Eyewitnesses alleged the victim, an ex-pupil at John Ruskin College in Croydon, was stabbed multiple times after being pursued by three others carrying weapons.

According to the Metropolitan Police, officers and paramedics rushed to the scene and he was airlifted to hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A Metropolitan Police chief, who spoke anonymously said two men, both 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and now in custody.

“A third teenager was arrested later and detained by detectives investigating murder case.

“A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place at Croydon mortuary today (Thursday),” the metropolitan police chief was quoted to have said.

The deceased was an amateur rapper and from investigations, was reportedly friends to two other young Nigerians, Fola Orebiyi, who were stabbed to death in south London in the past three months.

Recall that Orebiyi was stabbed to death on July 3 in Notting Hill, London, by a gang of youths and 16-year-old Leoandro Osemeke, known as Showkey, was stabbed to death outside a party in Peckham on August 5.
