Godsday Orubebe, the former Minister of Niger Delta has on Thursday morning opened his defence before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT). Orubebe is facing criminal charges over alleged false declaration of asset and corruption.
The case was fixed today for the defendant, Orubebe to open his defence after its adjournment on May 31, 2016, as CCT did not sit on that day.
The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP ) of the Federation, Mr. Moses S. Odiri appeared for the prosecution while Selekowei Larry (SAN) appeared for defendant.
