How Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Kids Are Doing Amid Their Parents' Divorce

As with any family, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce is not only affecting them, but also their six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne.
One of the biggest concerns surrounding the divorce is the custody battle over the kids.
Angelina is seeking full custody of the children as E! News learned she believes it's what's necessary right now while the Department of Children and Family Services in Los Angeles County continues conducting an inquiry into the allegations that Brad was involved in an incident with a child aboard a private plane earlier this month.

In fact, we're told Brad has yet to see his children since the divorce news broke last week—something he hopes will change soon.
"He really wants to see the kids and to work out an arrangement that is best for them," an insider told us. "[He] wants to work things out privately and amicably."

Speaking of privacy, the six kids are reportedly living with their mom in a rented hideaway home in Malibu, staying out of the paparazzi's eye as they continue to move forward following the divorce news. One of Angie's security guards was spotted picking up four large pizzas and a couple bags from D'Amore's pizza in the area on Tuesday.

The actress is seeking help from two of her closest friends, Baroness Arminka Helic and Chloe Dalton, who are reportedly staying with the family in the home. Her brother, James Haven, has also been helpful. In fact, a day before the divorce news was announced, he was spotted with them at a Los Angeles park.
E! News has also learned the 41-year-old actress doesn't intend for the custody situation to remain permanent. We're told Angie knows she and Brad will need to co-parent together in the future for the sake of their kids.

Currently, the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services has conducting an inquiry into allegations that Brad was involved in an incident with a child aboard a private plane flying from Europe to L.A. earlier this month.
Reps for the couple have not commented on the reports regarding the incident, but a source close to the investigation told E! News Brad "takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children."

Another insider noted that Pitt is "is cooperating fully." The source added, "He will continue to do what's in the best interest of the children...[He] is most concerned about his children and the best thing for them is to keep the situation private."
