The Cambridges are one good-looking family, eh?
Prince William and Kate Middleton took Prince George and Princess Charlotte to a party for the children of Canadian military families held on the grounds of British Columbia's Government House on Thursday. This is George and Charlotte's first joint appearance on a royal tour, and based on the adorable photos we've seen, it's safe to say a good time was had by all!
Both George, 3, and Charlotte, 16 months, participated in a petting zoo set up for the kids. There were balloons and plenty and lots of bubbles—even toy bubble guns, which seemed to be a hit with both George and his dad!
Children's entertainer Paul Kilshaw made balloon animals for the kids, including George and Charlotte. "It was totally over the top," he told the U.K.'s Mirror of the children's bash. "I made a teddy bear and a flower for Charlotte and made George a tree and a volcano."
"At first George wasn't interested in getting one until Charlotte was getting one, then he as right over," said Mr. Kilshaw. "He wanted what she had...George especially asked for a volcano and he was very proud to tell me all about volcanos."
Per the Daily Mail, Charlotte said her first word in public: "Pop!" That, of course, is what she wanted to do to one of the many balloons at the party.
The kids also enjoyed a puppet show as well as playing with local children, too.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: "The Duke and Duchess are really pleased to have this opportunity to introduce their children to Canada and it's great that they have the chance to play with other children while they are here."
