Bayern Munich break Manchester United’s home record

On Tuesday night, Bayern Munich kicked off their Champions League campaign, with a comprehensive 5-0 drubbing of Russian club, Rostov.
Not only did Carlo Ancelotti’s men pick all three points, they also broke Manchester United’s home record in the competition.

It was Bayern’s 13th consecutive home victory, beating the run of 12 straight wins United mustered between 2006 and 2008.

The Bavarians have not lost at the Allianz Arena, since Real Madrid crushed them 4-0 in the semi-finals of the 2013/2014 season.
